John Singleton
Founder
Intro
John got his start in the fitness world as a young teenager competing in martial arts. After graduation he moved to China for several years to deepen his knowledge in the discipline. Only after returning back home to the UK, where he started pursuing a degree in osteopathy, did he come in contact with the notion of CrossFit.
Enthused with the methodology and how it reminded him of the martial arts approach to training, he took on competing in the first CrossFit Sectionals. One thing led to another, and with his growing knowledge in physiology and exercise science he soon found himself coaching other athletes just as much as he was training.
Having realized his untapped potential as a coach John chose to hang up his competitor shoes to pursue coaching as a career. It wasn’t long before The Progrm was founded and the rest is history. He’s now based in Mallorca, where The Progrm headquarters are, and continues to lead a global community of athletes and fitness enthusiast in the pursuit of peak performance and long term health.
