The battle for the throne and crown of the CrossFit kingdom begins now.

HEAVY IS THE HEAD THAT WEARS THE 👑

The Crown 2025: A New Generation Steps Up
In March 2025, ten of the world’s most promising teenage athletes flew into Mallorca to take part in The Crown — our annual, invite-only throwdown designed to do more than test fitness.
Set inside the iconic Nike Castle, this three-day challenge is built to push limits, reveal potential, and shape what comes next for young athletes in the sport.
The Crown was created by our founder and head coach, John Singleton, to fill a gap in the CrossFit® landscape. It’s not about spectacle. It’s about substance.
Teen athletes often train in isolation, without the chance to go head-to-head with others their own age. We’re here to change that. The Crown creates space for connection as well as competition — because we believe that relationships, shared experience, and community fuel long-term growth.

This year, we kicked things off with a team challenge — a bit of chaos, a lot of fun.
Athletes started with a scavenger hunt, moved into a fast-paced trivia round, and ended up diving into the pool to recover a waterproof box packed with surprises: Nike shoes, new kit, and a key to their locker, where even more exclusive gear was waiting.
We also launched something new: the Erg Series.

Hosted at Palma Sport and Tennis Club, it opened the weekend up to the local community. Teams of two took on Ski Ergs, Assault Bikes, and rowers while being part of the wider event energy. For us, this balance — between elite-level preparation and authentic grassroots connection — is what defines The Progrm approach.
Over the course of the weekend, our athletes took on everything from open water swimming and heavy barbell work to gymnastics and gritty trail runs.
One event pushed them across the sand with buckets and wheelbarrows full of weight — a brutal but fitting test set against the Mallorcan coastline.

When the dust settled, two athletes stood at the top: Ole Bosman from the Netherlands and Tuva Bjerkeli from Norway.

Both had already competed at the 2024 CrossFit Games in the 16–17 division and followed it up with podium finishes at the IF3 Super Worlds in Budapest.
They’re already making waves — and we know they’re just getting started.
This year, our work got a boost from outside the gym.
Mallorca’s local government recognised the value of what we’re building and awarded The Crown the Trophy of Fitness of Palma — a milestone that marks growing recognition of CrossFit and functional fitness as real, competitive sports on a global stage.

Looking ahead, we’re expanding The Crown Series in 2026.
With qualifiers planned in Spain and Sweden and the final returning to Mallorca over Easter weekend, we’re committed to creating more opportunities for the next generation of athletes to rise.
We’re not here to follow trends. We’re here to build futures.
